Faino 隐私政策
概要
Faino 帮你记下阅读时从一个来源走到下一个来源的路径，以及为什么。你记下的资料只保存在你这台设备的浏览器里。Faino 没有账号，也没有自己的服务器；我们不收集、不出售、不分享你的阅读资料，也不用它投放广告或做用户画像。
Faino 在你的设备上保存什么
只有你主动“记下”或设置时，才会保存以下内容：
- 你记下的页面：网址、标题，以及识别到的作者、年份、DOI 等资料信息；
- 你选中的引文、你写的理由和概念、探索的名称和问题；
- 你选择截取的画面区域、在本机识别出的文字，以及视频字幕片段和时间点；
- 界面语言、页面标识的位置等设置，以及正在填写的草稿等临时状态。
这些资料保存在浏览器的扩展存储（chrome.storage）和 IndexedDB 中，只供 Faino 在你的设备上显示路径、从中断处继续和导出。导出文件由你自己保存和处理。
资料什么时候会离开你的设备

和任何网络请求一样，上述服务会看到你的 IP 地址等常规请求信息。它们按各自的隐私政策处理这些信息。除此之外，Faino 不包含统计、追踪或广告代码，不向任何其他方发送资料。
网站访问权限
读取网页内容的权限是可选的：Faino 只在你允许后读取你正在看的页面，用来预览页面信息、截取你选中的文字或画面。你可以随时在 Chrome 的扩展程序设置中收回。读取到的内容只保存在本机。
保留与删除
- 本机资料会一直保留，直到你在 Faino 里删除某一步或某次探索、清空资料，或卸载插件。卸载会删除这些资料，卸载前请导出备份。
- 你发送的反馈邮件由开发者保留，只用于回复和改进产品。如需删除，请写信到下方邮箱。
儿童
Faino 不面向 13 岁以下的儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。
Chrome 应用商店用户数据政策
Faino 对从 Chrome API 获取的信息的使用，遵守 Chrome 应用商店用户数据政策，包括其中的“有限使用”要求。
政策变更与联系方式

Faino Privacy Policy
Summary
Faino helps you remember how one source led to the next while you read, and why. What you add stays in your browser on your own device. Faino has no accounts and no servers of its own. We do not collect, sell or share your reading data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
What Faino stores on your device
Faino stores the following only when you add a step or change a setting:
- pages you add: address, title, and detected details such as author, year and DOI;
- quotes you select, the reasons and concepts you write, and the names and questions of your wanders;
- screen areas you choose to capture, text recognised from them on your device, and video caption segments with their timestamps;
- settings such as interface language and the position of the page marker, and temporary state such as an unfinished draft.
This data is kept in the extension's browser storage (chrome.storage) and IndexedDB, and is used only to show your path, let you continue where you left off, and export it. Exported files are saved and handled by you.
When data leaves your device

As with any network request, these services see routine request information such as your IP address, and handle it under their own privacy policies. Faino contains no analytics, tracking or advertising code and sends data to no one else.
Site access
Access to page content is optional. Faino reads the page you are on only after you allow it, to preview its details and capture the text or area you choose. You can remove this access at any time in Chrome's extension settings. What is read stays on your device.
Retention and deletion
- Data on your device stays until you delete a step or a wander in Faino, clear your data, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling deletes it, so export a backup first.
- Feedback emails are kept by the developer only to reply and improve the product. To have yours deleted, write to the address below.
Children
Faino is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes and contact
