Faino Chrome 插件

开始

  1. 打开 Faino点浏览器工具栏里的 Faino 图标，侧栏会在页面旁边打开。可以在扩展菜单里把它固定到工具栏。
  2. 记下第一步打开想读的页面，点「记下」。也可以选中一句话，右键选「记到 Faino…」，这句话会成为引文。
  3. 写下为什么写一句为什么来到这里，再挑几个概念。只有你确认后才会保存。
  4. 继续往下读点开页面里的链接继续读，再记下一步。新的一步会接在把你带来的那一步后面，路径图里能看到来路。
  5. 先放着，之后再回来暂时不想读的页面可以「留待探索」。之后在路径里选中它，点「从这里继续」。
  6. 保存和导出读完后在底部「命名并保存」。可以导出为 Markdown、Word、Obsidian、Zotero 或 EndNote，也可以导出完整备份。

可选功能

功能说明
自动识别页面允许 Faino 读取网页后，切换页面时侧栏会自动预览当前页面。不记下就不会保存。
论文信息只在识别到论文时出现：作者、年份和 DOI，也可以在这里查询 DOI。帖子、博客和视频上不显示。
读取画面文字页面文字很少、是图片或扫描版 PDF 时，可以截取画面，在本机识别文字。第一次使用会下载识别模型。
视频字幕记下视频时，正在显示的字幕会成为引文，并记住时间点。

你的资料

资料只保存在这台设备的浏览器里。卸载插件会删除这些资料，卸载前请在「…」菜单里导出备份。详见隐私政策。

有问题或建议，可以在「…」菜单里「发送反馈」。

The Faino Chrome extension

Getting started

  1. Open FainoClick the Faino icon in the browser toolbar. The side panel opens next to the page. You can pin it from the extensions menu.
  2. Add your first stepOpen a page you want to read and click Add. Or select a sentence, right-click and choose “Add to Faino…”; the sentence becomes the quote.
  3. Say whyWrite why you came here and pick a few concepts. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
  4. Keep readingFollow a link on the page and add the next step. It hangs from the step that brought you there, so the path map shows where you came from.
  5. Save it for laterNot ready for a page yet? Choose Explore later. When you are, select it on the path and click Continue from here.
  6. Save and exportWhen you finish, click Name and save at the bottom. Export to Markdown, Word, Obsidian, Zotero or EndNote, or export a full backup.

Optional features

FeatureWhat it does
Auto-detect pagesAfter you let Faino read pages, the panel previews the page you switch to. Nothing is saved unless you add it.
Paper detailsShown only when a paper is recognised: author, year and DOI, with DOI lookup. Posts, blogs and videos do not show them.
Read text from the screenWhen a page is mostly images or a scanned PDF, capture an area and recognise its text on your device. The recognition model downloads the first time.
Video captionsWhen you add a video, the caption on screen becomes the quote, with its time.

Your data

Your data stays in this browser on this device. Uninstalling removes it, so export a backup from the “…” menu first. See the privacy policy.
